Giordanoworks is producing a series of six "filmed plays" to be shown on Comcast Union County NJ cable access . We intend to produce in the style of Playhouse 90 or Philco Theater. That is, we will basically film performances. However, we will do some individual shots and different angles. Our goal is to bring plays as oppose to movies to the cable audience. We are looking for plays that fit into the following guidelines: IDEALLY (but not written in stone) the plays will : 1. Have limited sets. Sets that can be found in average homes in NJ (We will do all filming on location in NJ) (One set plays hit the ideal.) 2. Have no more than 6 characters 3. Have no language or situations that would be inconsistent with a family show (This project is directed to viewers from teen to adult) 4. Have a run time from 15 minutes to 60 minutes. (We will favor the 60 minute plays for ease in scheduling, but we will do at least one evening of shorts.) In addition, we are looking for actors who would like to audition.
